Welcome to Granite Point-the Resort on Loon Lake.

Granite Point–the Resort on Loon Lake–has been a family business since 1921.  While we have kept pace with the times, what many find so appealing about the Resort is that, in all of the good ways, “it hasn’t changed.”  It is a perfect place to unplug, reconnect, and enjoy the simpler things–like a good cup of coffee at sunrise as you look out at the lake, a day sunning and playing at the beach almost to the point of exhaustion, popsicles, smores, and scavenger hunts.

The Resort boasts acres of grassy areas and old growth ponderosa pines, with nearly a mile of sandy beach frontage and deep water swimming beaches.   We rent fully furnished cottages–all with lovely lake views, and some waterfront.  We also have several full and partial hookups for RVs and trailers, as well as self-contained campsites. The Resort has a well stocked general store, which also provides outstanding food and beverage service.  Granite Point also is available to host special events, including weddings, family reunions, and company picnics.

Not only does Granite Point have some of the nicest and longest sandy beaches and best lake swimming you will find in the State, but we offers a number of amenities for our day guests, and moreso for those staying in a cottage, campsite, or longer term rental.  Row boats, kayaks, paddle board, and canoes are available for rent.  The friendly staff can assist with fishing guidance and gear, as well as help coordinate activities for kids and adults who are staying with us.  Pickle ball, basketball, kickball, or any number of games can be played on the main sport court on the large grassy sports field.   Horsehoe pits and a volleyball court are also available on site.  The original 1920s dancehall provides old fashioned pinball, arcade games, and pool; and, we have an assortment of board games for checkout.  Staff can also assist you in planning excursions to local attractions.

While we are animal lovers; but, for the general convenience of our guests, we do not allow pets.

All of our cottages are self-contained, fully-furnished, and have bedding and towels provided.  Each cottage has its own look and feel, but all have lovely lake views, easy lake access, and some are even waterfront.
