The 2012 Fishing Season opens April 28, 2012, for Loon Lake. Bring your boat and fishing gear to Granite Point Park and get your hook into a fish. Loon Lake was given an infusion of 758 jumbos (1 1/2 pound) rainbow trout this year. Loon Lake has a history of very large mackinaw being caught, especially early in the season. A hardy Fishermen's Breakfast will be served from 7-11 AM for just $6 at the Granite Point Store.
